1. Information We Collect

All The Nutrients is a no-account service. You do not need to register or log in to use any feature. We collect minimal data:

Newsletter email (optional) — if you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address with our email provider (Beehiiv) solely to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Local browser storage — your food log, nutrition tracker data, calorie goals, and preferences are stored only in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Usage data — pages visited and searches performed, collected in aggregate and anonymised form to improve the service.
Device data — browser type, language preference, and approximate region (via IP address) for localisation and analytics.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Ever.

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide and improve the All The Nutrients service.
Send the newsletter to subscribers who have opted in. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
Analyse aggregate, anonymised usage to understand which features are most valuable.
Comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to remember your preferences (e.g. dark mode, language). We also use analytics cookies to understand site traffic. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time on our Cookie Policy page.

4. Data Retention

Newsletter subscribers: we retain your email address until you unsubscribe. Browser-stored tool data (tracker logs, recipes, goals) exists only on your device — you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser storage. We do not store this data on our servers.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw newsletter consent at any time by clicking Unsubscribe in any email.

6. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of carefully selected third-party services to operate the platform (Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for the food database, Beehiiv for the newsletter). Each is bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy law. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers.

7. Children

All The Nutrients is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has subscribed to our newsletter, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Newsletter subscribers will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
